Day 1: Arrival to Istanbul

As Daily Istanbul Tours team, we are ready to give you our warmest welcome! Welcome to one of world’s most vibrant and fascinating cultural capitals; Istanbul! After arrival, meeting and assistance by our representative waiting for you by baring a sign with your name on it. We are going to pick you up and escort you to your hotel. About the following days, tour itinerary will be hand over or left at the hotel for you. Have a nice rest before your Turkey experience starts next day!(We might pick you up from Sabiha Gokcen airport with extra cost)

Day 2: Free day in Istanbul (Breakfast included)

After enjoying your open buffet breakfast at the hotel, enjoy Istanbul old city on your own, your hotel will be in a walking distance from Hagia Sophia, Blue Mosque, Topkapi palace or other places.

Day 3: Gallipoli Tour (Breakfast and Lunch included)

This morning we will come to pick you up from your hotel around 06:30-07:00 and depart for Gallipoli. Even if you can not have breakfast at the hotel, there will be small breakfast break on our way. After approximately 5 hours of drive, we will reach and we will visit memorials of Dardanelles, Brighton Beach, Beach Cemetery, ANZAC Cove, Ariburnu Cemetery, ANZAC Commemorative Site, Respect to Mehmetcik Statue, Lone Pine Australian Memorial, Johnstons Jolly (Turkish and Allied trenches and tunnels), Turkish 57. Infantry Regiment Cemetery, The Nek, Chunuk Bair New Zealand Memorial. Gallipoli peninsula has an historical importance since it hosted many Anzac and Turkish soldiers during the First World War. The founder of modern Turkey, Mustafa Kemal Ataturk honored the soldiers by building memorials on their names and on his tribute he announced that after having lost their lives on our land, Anzac soldiers have become our sons as well. In the afternoon you will make a lunch break.

End of our tour, we will take ferry to Canakkale and check in your hotel.

Day 4: Troy and Pergamum Tour (Breakfast and Lunch included)

After enjoying your open buffet breakfast at the hotel, your guide will come to pick you up around 09:00-09:15 and depart for Half day Troy Tour. You will have the opportunity to see the ancient city of Trojan War, Trojan Horse, Helen and Trojan Prince Paris. Moreover there are 10 cities built on each other, discovered by Heinrich Schliemann during the excavations in 19^th century. Roman theater, Odeon, Greco-Roman Senate Building, Apollo Temple are between the highlight of the tour.

Then, we head Kusadasi through Pergamum Ancient City. This afternoon we will make a lunch break in a local restaurant. Here we will have a chance to see the ruins of the city which used to have famous Library of Pergamon contained 200,000 books. After our visit we will keep on driving to Kusadasi.

Day 5: Ephesus Tour (Breakfast and Lunch included)

After enjoying your open buffet breakfast at the hotel, your guide will come to pick you up around 09:00-09:30 and start Ephesus Tour. We will start our tour with the ruins of world famous Artemis Temple which used to be one of the richest cities of ancient Greek world and declared as one of the 7 wonders of ancient world.  After Artemis Temple, we head to Ephesus Ancient city, walking though this marble city with a great atmosphere will leave you speechless. Especially façade of Celsus Library dramatically impress the visitors. Cameras should not be forgotten. In the afternoon you will make a lunch break. Our next visit will be to a pilgrimage place recognized by Vatican; House of Virgin Mary. End of the tour, we drive to your hotel.

Day 6: Pamukkale Tour (Breakfast and Lunch included)

After enjoying your open buffet breakfast at the hotel, we will come to pick you up around 08:00-08:30 and depart for Pamukkale Tour. First visit will be to the Pamukkale travertines, a massive calcified cliff which is called as ‘cotton castle’ by Turks. For centuries, underground calcite-laden waters have been pouring out and created terraces of carbonate. Pamukkale is one of the most extraordinary natural sites of Turkey. Afterwards, we go to visit Hellenistic Spa Town; Hierapolis Ancient City which was founded by the Attalid kings of Pergamom at the end of the 2nd century B.C. The therapeutic virtues of water were widely used, people used to come here to soothe their ailments and many of them retired and died here. The city ruins include baths, temple ruins, a monumental arch, a nymphaeum, a necropolis and a theatre. The swimming suits should not be forgotten to swim in Cleopatra Pool. In the afternoon you will make a lunch break.

End of the tour, we escort you to the local bus station to take Fethiye Bus. After almost 3 hours drive, you arrive to Fethiye. You will be welcome by our agents and transfer to hotel.

Day 7: Blue Cruise (Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner included)

In our Blue Cruise you will have 4 days full of swimming, relaxing, enjoying and you will explore Turkey’s one of the most beautiful coast line. For the first day of sailing, we will pick you up from hotel around 09:45 – 10:00am and transfer to wooden gulet (traditional Turkish boat). We will cruise to Samanlik Cove for swimming break and having our lunch. If the weather conditions permit, our next stop will be Butterfly Valley which hosts 136 kinds of different butterflies. Then we cruise to famous Blue Lagoon (Oludeniz). Here paragliding is optional for interested guests. Then next visit will be to St. Nicholas Island with Byzantine ruins. Overnight aboard.

Day 8: Blue Cruise (Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner included)

After sunrise, we sail to Firnaz Bay which is close to charming fishing town Kalkan for breakfast and swimming break. Then for our lunch we will be at Kas and here we will have a chance to see ruins of Antiphellos Ancient City. Lycian rock tombs, sarcophagus and Roman Theater are between the historical attractions. We are going to make another swimming break in a bay near Kekova which is famous with sunken ruins. We are going to have dinner. Free time and overnight aboard.

Day 9: Blue Cruise (Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner included)

We will start cruising early in the morning and our destination will be Sunken City of Kekova. An earthquake destroyed and damaged most of the city, so the sunken ruins are all over the site. Moreover we will visit Simena and Byzantine castle. Then we will cruise to Gokkaya Bay as one of the most protected bay also is famous with its turquoise and tranquil water. Also Gokkaya Bay offers different types of water sports for our interested guests. We will have our dinner and overnight aboard.

Day 10: Blue Cruise (Breakfast included)

Our last day on gulet will start with a nice breakfast while passing by Pirates Cave and sailing to Andriace Harbour. After arrival to coast at 10:30 – 11:00am, you will be picked up with a private van/car and drive to Antalya. When we arrive to Antalya, you will be transferred to hotel. You have afternoon at leisure for independent activities.

Day 11: Free day in Antalya (Breakfast included)

Day 12: From Antalya to Cappadocia via Konya by minibus (Breakfast included)

This morning our driver will come to pick you up and you will depart for Cappadocia via Konya. Konya was the capital of Anatolian Seljuk Sultanate and Karamanids, also Sufi Mevlevi Order was born in this city. So we will go to visit School of Whirling Dervishes; Konya Mevlana Museum. This afternoon we will be treated with Konya’s famous food Etli Ekmek. Leaving behind dervishes, we drive 3 hours more to reach Cappadocia. After arrival check in our hotel.(Lunch is on your own expense)

Day 13: Northern Cappadocia Tour (Breakfast and Lunch included)

After you enjoy open buffet breakfast, the guide will come to pick you up around 09:30-09:45  to start the Northern Cappadocia Tour. The Cappadocia region preserved and sustained its cultural heritage; during the tour you witness traditional dwelling places, castles, cave food storages, and villages. Goreme Panorama offers a magnificent view with its fairy chimney landscape.  As the biggest monastery complex, we also go to see Open Air Museum. Ortahisar provides a nice example of using natural rock formations -fairy chimneys- as castle and food storages. Fairy Chimney Valley (Pasabag), Imagination Valley (Devrent) are between the highlights of our tour. This afternoon you will make a lunch break. 

Then, walk along the Red River which is longest river of the country and we will be treated with a demonstration of centuries-old tradition; pottery. If you like, you may try to shape clay on potters’ wheel.
Following the passing though Love Valley, we get back to hotel.

Day 14: Southern Cappadocia Tour (Breakfast and Lunch included)

Optional hot air balloon is available for this morning.

After enjoying your open buffet breakfast at the hotel, your guide will come to pick you up around 09:30-09:45 and depart for Southern Cappadocia Tour. First visit will be to the tallest fairy chimney Uchisar Castle from where all Cappadocia is laid at your feet. Because of its location, it was used as a castle by many civilizations and many sections carved out into rock are connected each other with stairs, tunnels and passages. Then, be ready to have a scenic walk though the Rose Valley by observing cave-like churches and monasteries and arriving to Cavusin Village which used to have inhabitants lived in carved houses in massive rocks.  Also we will visit underground city of Kaymaklı where you will have a chance to see ruins of churches, kitchens, metal shops and stables. This afternoon you will make a lunch break.

Pigeon Valley will be our next stop, as a great place for hiking also gives visitors opportunity to see pigeons living in the dovecots carved into cliffs. Finally we will drive to Three Beauties Valley which offers us a stunning view of Cappadocia countryside and grape gardens as the region is famous with its local wine producers.

At the end of the tour, transfer to airport to take return flight to Istanbul. Upon your arrival, meeting and assistance by our representatives who bares a board with your names on it. Transfer you to your hotel.
